A lot of our clients have a base in the DACH region in Germany, so having access to those clients is a big plus. Being here is where we need to be if we're looking for growth in the region.
Everyone has been amazing to speak to. All the people I've spoken to have been great and if they're not quite the right person, they're more than willing to direct you to people that you need to speak to. The attendees have been very, very high level.
In total, we had seven that were scheduled, but I've spoken to 10. Out of the 10 meetings, at least 70% of these should lead to good follows ups.
We’ve built some good connections here from the conversations we've had, and I think this comes back to the stakeholders that are here very high level, with the topics that they wanted to talk about, they've been quite core business challenges or questions and what we offer as a business can tap into a lot of those. There's scope for it to be a longer-term play, longer-term conversations, for sure.
The session went very well, I really enjoyed it. The crowd was very perceptive. I am happy with how it went.
I had some great conversations with people after the session, asking about content and questioning and challenging ideas about TikTok etc., which was really cool. It led to a lot of great conversations, so would definitely make sure I do another session next time.
I also attended two sessions today, as well as a few yesterday. All of them have been very solid. The topics have been useful, the key takeaways have been learning about data analytics, personalization, and customer journeys. As a brand strategist, these topics are very interesting and useful.
Yes, for sure. We've spoken with potential clients who are either in a blind cycle or thinking about it, and that would likely positively impact our 2023 H1.
The networking opportunities have been very good. We’ve mostly used them between the sessions where people are mingling in the coffee area. Just putting yourself in the area, means you can have good conversations. I've been able to speak to everyone that I came here for, which is great!
I've been networking with as many different people as I can, and even if I don't catch them, they have then come and found me, so we can have a conversation.
I would rate it very, very, very highly. If you compare this to very large conferences, in a big space with people standing around, this event has been very elegantly done.
The connect set up has brought a good atmosphere. Everyone's relaxed and going at their own pace, having conversations with the people they came to speak to. Also, there’s a nice number of attendees here. I would rate the organisation overall a 9/10.
Yes, particularly because we've only been in the market since 2015. Being a part of these conversations is really important for our brand value, but also the trust in the market. Obviously, we have amazing clients, but there's always room for more and there's a lot of people that don't know about us. I think sponsoring puts us in a position where people can take the time to understand who we are and trust us what we do.
Overall, eTail Germany Connect has been awesome. I already want to come again. I would definitely like to speak again at the next one too, as from what I understand, there's going to be more conversations around social content, commerce, and the creative side of things. That's my area of expertise and what I enjoy, so yes, I'm looking forward to another one.
